Desktop Support Officer -Adelaide,South Australia

Axiom Technologies is an Australia-based entity with a history of providing Managed IT solutions to medium to large-scale enterprises globally. We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate activities, from easy to complex, and provide onsite/on‑call assistance to end users within the organization's desktop computing setting in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery. Job Responsibilities
- Provide onsite/on‑call assistance and support to end users for desktop computing environment.
- Troubleshoot Level 2/3 desktop support issues.
- Administer Windows 10/11, Intune, cloud and thick build machines.
- Keep up with Windows App and Update release information.
- Provide web application support for Edge or Chrome.
- Provide cloud application support, collaborating with app owners when required.
- Support third‑party applications such as Microsoft, Java, Adobe, including raising vendor cases where required.
- Support MS Teams issues (video, audio, performance).
- Use AppV, Microsoft Store Apps, and packaged applications.
- Troubleshoot and find root cause for general performance issues.
- Troubleshoot laptop hardware issues such as monitor, mouse, headset, phones.
- Manage Office licences and troubleshoot Office issues for native and cloud applications.
- Collaborate with MS Outlook app owner to find root cause for Outlook issues.
- Manage Active Directory and Group Policies.
- Perform compatibility testing of web‑based applications with Chrome and Edge.
- Support and troubleshoot network‑related application issues. Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of Level 2/3 desktop support experience.
- Windows 10/11 administration and Intune troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of cloud and thick build machines.
- Experience with Microsoft Office updates and security updates.
- PowerShell scripting.
- Client management and communication skills.
- Browser support and management of Chrome and Edge via GPO.
- Knowledge of Adobe, MS Office, Oracle, Edge and Chrome applications.
