Description
The Client With decades of experience in development, head contracting, and property management, this construction company has consistently set the benchmark in the South Australian market for architecturally exciting projects. These projects are high in quality and finish, and they exude a unique style that inspires and excites. They also offer designs that inspire and enable you to build with pride. The Projects They are also renowned for paying their vendors, suppliers, and labour on time while collaborating with the best subcontractors. This is their second flagship project of four mid-rise residential projects planned for construction over the next four years. With a firm commitment to their clients, they spare no expense to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. This dedication to meeting deadlines and financial targets is a testament to their reliability and competence, instilling confidence in potential clients. As a result, they have become the developer and head contractor of choice for top construction professionals in the South Australian market. Personal
- You are a top communicator. Knowing how to communicate with subcontractors and your team is one thing, but communicating with government officials, developers, and stakeholders is another. You’d need a chameleon-type personality that can easily cater to different personalities throughout the day.
- You want to be a leader. The do as I say, not do as I do, boss personality is a thing of the past. The PM and SM will look to you for the standard and benchmark for what's acceptable and what’s not, so you’ll need to demonstrate throughout the day, by example, that the administration is at an A-level.
- You are a team player. This means you understand that, although you are in one of the top spots for the future of this business, this project won’t get done without your commercial acumen and dedication to the team. Synergy and harmony are key to this project's success! Professional
- You are an experienced Contract Administrator. This leader must understand the intricacies of contract administration to manage this flagship project. Ideally, four years plus a minimum of graduation experience would be ideal, but not essential. Time isn't the indicator, but expertise!
- You know mid-rise or high-rise residential apartments. As most of the projects this business undertakes are that type of build, you’d need to have previously administered one or two low-rise or medium-rise sites to confidently and successfully administer this project.
- You are a serious and ambitious professional. For most of your CA career, you’ve administered the structure, fit-out, and defects of projects over $10M. This project will be complex and span a few years, so a top priority is to find someone ready to be involved in the long-term success of these projects. The Perks
- You'll be on their best project of 2026. No project I know of starting this year has had this level of planning, sophistication, backing, talent, and mastery applied to it within this tier.
- They will have the best of the best on it from day one, and if you're interested in the longevity of work, you'll be on these projects for almost half a decade, so be ready for a journey of a lifetime. I've placed most of the team, so I know personally who you'll be meeting and working with. Trust when I say, great people!
- You will be paid what you are worth. Arbitrary-sounding, I know, but to hire the best, you must compensate them. Especially since you will be working on these projects for a long time, knowing that higher wages will keep you going when times get tough. But of course, it's on a case-by-case basis, determined by many factors, which we'll discuss together.
- You have a few similar buildings in a row. Remember, you will administer apartments for years to come. By completing this, you've gained more experience in ten years of tenure elsewhere.
