With projects and clients growing, we are looking for a customer and delivery focused Project Manager who is proactive in delivering on our client’s expectations. You will work closely with all internal and external stakeholders and work to maintain the agile team culture at Verbrec. You will be exposed to clients across many industries with a focus on existing and new defence clients. As a Project Manager you will develop and manage our key defence maintenance program of work and contribute to growth in this space. You will be also responsible for:
- Managing maintenance and construction projects
- Developing and managing client relationships (Key Account Management)
- Driving commercial and safety success at all stages of projects
- Generating and reviewing workorders and allocating resources
- Developing the project team and establishing the governance structure
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with project team and other key stakeholders. You will be focused on developing a successful career alongside a passionate team with a good work and life balance. Your experiences will display:
- Strong technical skills in Maintenance and Construction, preferably Instrument & Electrical, Control Systems considered,
- Consultancy or commercial project experience with strong delivery and commercial results
- Experience in Defence, Infrastructure, Manufacturing or similar
- Ability to measure project progress
- Ability to lead and compile tender submissions with the support of the Verbrec Maintenance, Construction and Engineering groups
- Current Baseline DCAC or ability to secure.
- Proven experience in managing risks and issues
- Drive to meet targets and motivate a team
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability of work
- Highly desirable
