Responsibilities
- Technical and Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers in the office or on-site, ensuring high‑quality technical and project outcomes. You will be responsible for coordinating engineers in design, engineering and projects tasks, through to conducting and approving key technical deliverables yourself.
- Structural Design: Oversee and deliver engineering and design projects, managing client expectations, timelines, budgets, and technical delivery across multiple disciplines, internally and externally.
- Client Account Management: Maintain and grow existing client relationships by engaging regularly with key stakeholders and undertaking client and market strategic activities. About You
- 10+ years of experience in structural engineering in Australia
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Chartered Engineer qualification is favourable
- Technical capabilities and/or familiarity with advanced skills in Spacegass, SLOG, ETABS, structural toolkit and an eye for improving existing worksheets.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects from concept design through to construction documentation
- Excellent people and communication skills that you can apply to stakeholder management.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
