The Prospect This position has been created to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets, to continue to serve our customers to a high standard and focus on creating new business opportunities. Blending both proactive business development and dedicated account management, you will be the driving force behind our continued expansion and client success. Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Maintain a robust pipeline by researching potential clients within Australia and New Zealand. Investigate new potential markets including overseas. Achieve sales targets, effectively manage open opportunities through to closed sales and monitor ongoing relationship success. Provide input to lead generating ideas to ensure new sales prospects are consistently acquired.
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong, supportive and mutually beneficial relationships with our customers ensuring regular touchpoints are in place. Respond confidently to queries and expertly tailor and present business solutions in ‘customer language’ to meet customer requirements now and in the future to help protect and grow their businesses.
- Travel: A willingness to travel regularly is essential for this role. Interstate and overseas travel is required to visit current and potential customers and to participate in trade shows/expos. You will represent the brand and present products and services at relevant trade shows/expos and conferences where applicable.
- Product Development & Marketing: Provide feedback in relation to customer wish lists to adapt the product based around customer demands. Investigate other potential industry related target areas. Implement marketing and training activities and provide input and support in the creation of marketing materials. Capture existing client testimonials and leverage existing customer referrals and suggestions.
- Training & Issue Resolution: Provide the initial training as part of a new fleet start-up to operators and drivers. Manage any customer dissatisfaction and /or issues professionally. Where there are any issues, this position takes responsibility and then actively works with the team to find solutions.
- Reporting & KPIs: Provide accurate monthly forecasts and updates as well as keep CRM updated regularly. Performance will be measured against KPIs including quarterly sales, customer interactions, demos booked, and monthly recurring revenue. About You

- Customer-Centric: You care about customer needs and success and have the ability to engage with empathy, understanding of commercial needs and perseverance. You possess the ability and desire to develop on‑going rapport with clients and develop strong, long term professional relationships.
