Program Manager, Transformation (Adelaide)

At ReturnToWorkSA, their purpose is to empower and support South Australians impacted by work injury. Their services and those delivered by their claims agents are designed to provide early intervention support to workers and employers following a work injury to ensure the worker can recover and return to work as quickly as possible. ReturnToWorkSA is embarking on an exciting Salesforce digital transformation, and we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join their team. About The Role This role integrates governance, risk, delivery execution, advantages management and realisation, and reporting into a single capability that enables disciplined, coordinated, and results-driven transformation. By embedding governance and assurance directly into delivery, the Program Manager ensures transformation initiatives are both strategically aligned and operationally effective. Operating at a senior level, the Program Manager works closely with the Digital Transformation Program Lead, executive sponsors, and business leaders to prioritise and sequence initiatives, manage risks and dependencies, and deliver outcomes that enable digital adoption, operational excellence, and sustainable value realisation. The role will also be a people leader, leading a function of experienced Project Managers and Project Analysts. As well as partnering with your own team, you’ll also be working with both internal and external vendor support, covering key areas such as Business Analysis, Change, Architecture, Development etc. This role will be on a three-year fixed term contract. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and manage an overarching program plan across all current and upcoming transformation projects, encompassing progress, key milestones, required resources and systems.
- Ensure regular reporting to stakeholders and governance groups on milestones, budgets and program progress, while managing expectations around scope, timing, funding and deliverables.
- Drive measurable improvements to operations and customer experience.
- Oversee program governance, prioritisation, and alignment with strategy.
- Coordinate delivery across key domains, managing risks and interdependencies.
- Embed assurance and benefits realisation frameworks to drive accountability and value.
- Partner with the Digital Transformation Program Lead, executives, and external vendors, ensuring effective collaboration.
- Integrate with change management to support adoption and business readiness.
- Ensure all procurement and contract-related activities are delivered in consultation with contract stakeholders and within the ReturnToWorkSA procurement and contract methodology.

- 10+ years’ experience in senior program leadership, with demonstrated success delivering large-scale, enterprise-wide digital or technology-enabled transformations.
- Proven success engaging with executives and senior leaders to shape and deliver enterprise outcomes.
- Expertise in both program governance and hands‑on delivery orchestration.
- An experienced people leader, capable of managing and promoting the ongoing development of a strong team of Project professionals.
- Strong capability in benefits realisation, reporting, and performance management.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, executive influencing, and communication skills, with the agility to navigate and respond to change.
- Strategic and commercial acumen with the ability to balance vision and execution.
- Strong understanding of program assurance, delivery methodologies, and change management.
