Welcome to the Finance Team As one of the largest Finance functions in Corporate Australia we provide opportunities across Corporate Finance, Shared Services, Commercial Finance, Capital Management, Financial Control, Operations Finance, Project Finance, M&A; and Strategy and Planning. The Woolworths Group Finance team is positioned to support change and continuous improvement across the business whilst continually focusing on providing excellent customer experiences to key stakeholders. The Opportunity The primary responsibility of this role is the oversight and management of Assets Under Construction (AUC), where you will investigate project expenditures and provide strategic insights into the capitalization of projects and optimize capitalization processes. You will be responsible for monitoring selected business areas, performing meticulous balance sheet reconciliations, and managing queries from various Business Units to ensure financial accuracy. Beyond core accounting duties, you will play a key role in operational integrity by performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), closing monthly results for Business Units, and preparing critical Financial Statement Analysis notes for Half-Year and Full-Year reporting. As a proactive member of the finance function, you will also support the wider team in driving continuous process improvements to elevate overall performance and reporting standards.
