The Role As Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all maintenance operations across the property. You will lead and coordinate a diverse team including mechanics, plumbers, grounds staff and general hands, ensuring the day‑to‑day functionality of infrastructure, plant and equipment across the park. With a strong operational and people‑management focus, you will:
- Prioritise and delegate maintenance activities across multiple sites
- Ensure all work is completed safely, compliantly, on time and within budget
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules and capital works planning
- Oversee contractors and specialist trades

- Proven experience in a similar maintenance leadership role, preferably in hospitality, resorts or remote operations
- Strong people‑management skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate a diverse team
- Extensive hands‑on experience with STP, WTP and generators at a large‑scale site
- Demonstrated experience managing contractors and subcontractors
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication and planning skills
- The ability to manage resources and budgets effectively
- A proactive, practical and solutions‑focused mindset
- A genuine commitment to workplace health and safety Qualifications & Licences
- Trade qualification (Electrician, Mechanic, Plumber, Engineer, Carpenter, etc.)
- Unrestricted/Open Manual Driver’s Licence
- Senior First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Relevant licences such as Chainsaw or Forklift
- Workplace Health & Safety Representative Training
- HR Driver’s Licence
- Pool Operator’s Certificate This is a role where you will be living and working in outback Australia. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery. Prior to an offer of employment being made, candidates must provide authority for a Federal Police Clearance to disclose any criminal offences or charges.
