Physiotherapist (Adelaide)

Job Description Be a Physiotherapist with Helping Hand, a leading provider of aged care in Adelaide since 1953. As a Physiotherapist you will assess, treat, and prevent disorders in human movement caused by injury or disease, and work to prevent disease and disability through physical means. This position is offered at 0.8 FTE (four days per week). The successful candidate may choose their preferred working days from Monday to Thursday, however Friday is a mandatory working day. Travel across all Helping Hand residential aged‑care sites will be required based on operational needs. Current graduates are welcome to apply. Employment Type Permanent, Part‑Time (0.8 FTE) Location Adelaide Metro Responsibilities
- Providing information, coaching and mentoring for therapy assistants, students and volunteers, to support routine physiotherapy treatments and meet standards of practice.
- Providing comprehensive and contemporary allied health practice in partnership with clients in accordance with each client’s individual needs, barriers and interests.
- Ensuring quality accreditation systems are effective, functional and ongoing and meet the quality accreditation standards for residential services. Qualifications
- Registered with the AHPRA as a Physiotherapist.
- Demonstrated commitment to efficiently meet the needs of clients.
- Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills including the development and delivery of presentations.
- A current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willingness to obtain one. Preferred Experience
