Based in the College of Science at the School of Biological Sciences, Adelaide City Campus. Full‑time, 3‑year fixed‑term contract. Salary Range: $81,293 – $109,307 per annum (plus 17% superannuation). Key Responsibilities Drive impactful teaching and research in plant biology, advancing knowledge of native flora. Provide teaching, research and supervision in plant biology, supporting the University’s academic excellence and research impact. Essential Qualifications
- A PhD in botany/plant biology, or related field with a focus on native flora
- Ability to deliver engaging undergraduate teaching across face‑to‑face, hybrid and online modes
- Solid research track record in plant biology, ecology and/or physiology, with peer‑reviewed publications
- Experience mentoring and/or supervising Honours, Masters or PhD students
- Excellent organisational, time management, interpersonal and intercultural skills, with a collaborative approach
- Personal qualities aligned with values of trust, inclusivity, ambition, respect and discovery Desirable Qualifications
- Experience contributing to external research funding applications and developing academic/industry networks in Australia
- Commitment to Work, Health and Safety practices
