Senior Social Worker Albany

This is a Permanent Part Time or Fixed Term Part Time appointment at 60.8 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Position Profile

Responsible for the assessment, planning, and delivery of advanced clinical mental health care to mandatory, at risk and complex clients in the inpatient mental health unit and in transition to GSMHS community care teams (ATT, CTT and Older Adult teams).

Provide a social work‑specific, specialist clinical, consultant and educational service to clients, carers and primary mental health care providers. Act as a clinical resource to other team members. Undertakes a social work‑specific leadership role in clinical governance and service planning for the GS Mental Health Service and specifically the inpatient mental health unit.
