Cost Controller (Albany)

The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our Transmission & Utilities team in Rivervale. This role is critical in providing accurate cost management, reporting and forecasting across site-based contracts, ensuring projects are delivered with strong financial control and transparency. Key Responsibilities

- Provide accurate cost management, reporting and forecasting for site contracts
- Maintain integrity and alignment across cost reporting and financial systems
- Prepare and update project progress reports, forecasts and cashflow
- Record month-end project positions, including revenue, cost and margin
- Review client invoicing, manage debt status and respond to invoice queries
- Allocate payments and ensure compliance with contractual invoice terms
- Produce daily workforce reporting
- Support audits, cost estimates, budgets and management presentations Requirements To Be Successful

- 3-5 yeas’ experience in project controls
- Strong working knowledge of SAP
- Experience using FSM is highly regarded
- Sound knowledge of project cost control, forecasting and reporting processes
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy using Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills Why UGL
