Agricultural And Horticultural Mobile Plant Operator

At Caicos Pty Ltd, we are looking for a full time (at least 38 hours per week) skilled Agricultural and Horticultural Mobile Plant Operator to perform the following duties:

Responsibilities

· Configuring and situating machinery to ensure operational readiness before beginning fieldwork

· Using heavy equipment to manage soil preparation, distribute nutrients, plant seeds, tend to crops during growth stages, and manage harvest without compromising plant integrity

· Adjusting machinery settings and continuously supervising equipment to regulate tool orientation, output levels, and overall functionality during field operations

· Handling forestry equipment to manage lifting and sectioning of timbered areas with minimal ecological disruption

· Coordinating log handling systems to grasp, rotate, move, and sort timber materials; additionally managing support equipment like shredders and wood processors

· Directing tree trunks into automated cutters for debarking and segmenting, followed by organizing and transporting the resulting logs to desired storage or shipping areas

· Maintaining documented logs of daily output, operational incidents, and relevant observations for managerial and compliance purposes

· Conducting equipment upkeep routines and performing on-the-spot technical fixes to minimize downtime and ensure reliability

Requirements

· The right candidate will have at least 1 year of experience

· A can-do attitude and ability of working independently.

Position: Full Time (at least 38 hours per week)

Salary: $65,000 – 80,000 per year

Location: Ravensthorpe WA 6346
