Agricultural Service Technician Apprentice - Albany

Start your career as an Agricultural Service Technician Apprentice and earn a nationally recognised Certificate III in Agricultural Mechanical Technology (AUR30420) based at AFGRI Equipment's Albany branch.

The apprenticeship is scheduled to officially commence face-to-face training in 2027.

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, successful apprentices progress into Service Technician roles within AFGRI Equipment.

Your Role
- What You'll Learn and Do
- Work in a professional dealership workshop supporting agricultural and construction machinery
- Assist with servicing, maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of modern equipment
- Support reliable machine performance for customers
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and drive systems
- Work across braking, steering, cooling, fuel, and emission systems
- Assist with inspection, disassembly, and rebuild of machinery
- Work with electronic control and monitoring systems
- Assist with integrated hydraulic and electronic systems and diagnostics Desirable Qualifications and Skills
- Completion of Year 12, preferably at an agricultural college
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for the agricultural industry and machinery
- Strong willingness to learn and contribute to a dynamic team environment What we offer:
