HSEQ Advisor (Albany)

HSEQT Advisor – Permanent role with a growing WA mining contractor 8:6 FIFO ex Perth Covalent Lithium project rampup – Permanent role with a growing WA mining contractor Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) is a quick‑growing Western Australian civil and mining contractor with a strong track record of delivering major projects for tier‑one clients across WA. With the Covalent Lithium Project having commenced in early and now entering a ramp‑up phase, IMC is expanding its site workforce to support increasing project activity. Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, Acts and Regulations.
- Maintain and enhance HSE programs in line with company policies and legislative requirements.
- Manage safety registers and remain up to date with legislative changes.
- Conduct thorough safety investigations, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Perform hazard and risk assessments and effectively communicate outcomes to site teams. Qualifications
- Previous experience in the mining industry or in a similar safety role.
- Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS.
- In‑depth knowledge of OH&S; legislation and HSEQ management practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office with strong computer skills.
- Experience with ICAM or Taproot investigation methodologies.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly desirable).
- Valid C class driver’s licence.
- Ability to pass a full pre‑employment medical, drug & alcohol screen and provide a current Police Clearance. Benefits
