Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to ensure that all geology & diamond drill personnel adhere to safety standards that exceed industry practice and any applicable legislative provisions.
- Manage all drill data collection and validity, interpretation updates, QAQC, determining mineralisation controls and modelling the geology to develop mineral resources.
- High‑level planning, including drill scheduling, and work with mine planning for development and stope designs.
- Ensure quarterly and 6‑monthly resource versus reserve reconciliation reports are completed.
- Complete project work and presentations to a skilled standard as and when required.
- Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement opportunities. Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the resources industry, ideally within underground hard rock mining environments.
- Hands‑on experience with mining and geology software such as Datamine and Leapfrog, plus a strong understanding of sampling practices, QAQC, block modelling, advanced grade estimation techniques, and reconciliation.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to positively lead and develop a team, manage contractors, and engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology and a C Class Manual Driver’s Licence. Soft Skills & Personal Qualities
