Team Leader - Timber Production (Albury)

Take the Next Step with CMTP – Albury Ready to step into leadership while staying hands-on in a timber manufacturing environment? CMTP is looking for a motivated Team Leader to join our Albury site, helping lead a small close-knit team of around 8–10 employees producing timber pallets, crates and packaging products. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with production assembly or timber manufacturing experience who wants to grow into leadership and gain exposure to site operations and future management. You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager, acting as their backup when required, while remaining hands-on across production, safety, training and daily workflow. About the Role
- Lead and support a small production team
- Remain hands-on in the manufacturing process
- Train and mentor new employees
- Help coordinate daily production workflow and priorities
- Support quality, safety and productivity standards
- Assist with building timber pallets, crates and packaging products
- Operate machinery and forklifts where required
- Step into leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Operations Manager What We’re Looking For
- Experience in manufacturing, timber production or assembly-based production environments
- Leadership potential and a positive attitude
- Someone who leads by example and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Forklift license highly regarded
