Commercial Bricklayers (Albury)

About the role Yarrawonga Brick and Block Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Commercial Bricklayers to join our growing teams in both Yarrawonga, VIC and Albury, NSW. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for the construction of commercial and industrial buildings, working on a variety of exciting projects. What you'll be doing 1. Laying bricks, blocks and other masonry materials to construct walls, foundations, columns and other structural elements 2. Reading and interpreting plans and specifications to ensure accurate construction 3. Collaborating with team members to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards 4. Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition 5. Cleaning and preparing work areas to enable efficient construction What we're looking for 1. Formal qualification in bricklaying or masonry, or a minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial bricklaying 2. 3-5 years of commercial bricklaying experience is required for this position 3. Trade qualifications in bricklaying or masonry are preferred 4. White Card certification is required 5. A current driver's licence is preferred 6. Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings 7. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to navigate construction challenges 8. Collaborative team player with strong communication skills 9.
