The Role We're searching for dedicated individuals to join our team at our Lavington depot. As a Driver with Cleanaway, you'll play a crucial role in operating a variety of waste collection vehicles throughout the NSW/VIC region. Your responsibilities will include the safe and efficient operation of collection vehicles to collect waste from a variety of commercial locations. You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet. You will be required to operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with company regulations, complete all paperwork and records accurately. Responsibilities
- Operate collection vehicles
- Perform loading and unloading duties of waste product
- Deliver loads to nominated disposal facilities
- Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction
- Maintain presentation of the vehicle, inside and out
- Comfortable with manual handling and able to work autonomously and as part of a team Requirements
- Must be willing to take a pre‑employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
- Hold a current unrestricted driver’s licence for a minimum of 24 months
- Driving history check with a minimum of 8 demerit points remaining
- No heavy vehicle driving experience required
- Passionate about working as a team
- Excellent customer service ethic
- Commitment to safety and willingness to learn and work as part of a team
