Medical Receptionist Murdoch (Australia)

West Coast Obstetrics and Gynaecology is a privately owned specialist practice located at Wexford Medical Centre (SJOG Murdoch).

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team.

Must be able to cover sick leave at short notice (our clinic is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am
- 4pm)

Must be able to cover holiday leave.

Roles Responsibilities:

Greeting patients and ensuring a welcoming waiting room experience.

Patient billing includes creating invoices, collecting money and liaising with health fund providers.

Scheduling patient appointments, providing relevant forms and paperwork, ensuring all the relevant information is available for clinicians.

Data entry, updating and creating patient files.

Communicating with doctors, clinical staff as well as external third parties such as hospital, pathologies, GP clinic, radiology clinics and other specialist rooms in a skilled manner

Other administrative duties as directed

About You:

Previous administration experience

High level of interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively

Solid attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
