About the Role

A successful boutique construction firm specialising in mid-size to large high end residential projects. Driven by high attention to detail and always ensuring quality workmanship.

We are now seeking a 2nd year apprentice carpenter who takes enormous pride in their work. You will be working with a fantastic team and interesting clientele, and it is essential you can communicate well and possess a high level of problem-solving skills. This is a permanent long-term role to start as soon as possible, with a successful family-run business that takes care of its people.

Duties:

Undertake high quality Carpentry works including:

Set out

Framing

Fixing and Finishing

Decking and Cladding

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other tradespeople

Skills and Experience:

Be in your second year of a carpentry apprenticeship

Have own car and tools

Be flexible to go between sites when needed

Be pro-active with the ability to problem solve and plan ahead

Take pride in your work

Be reliable and have an excellent work ethic

Have solid communication skills both verbal and written

Be a team player

Ability to understand and adhere to company policies and procedures

How to apply

Pay: From $29.49 per hour
