The Creative Team operates as the Bureau’s in-house creative agency delivering graphic design, video production, and brand management. The team manages the Bureau’s communications channels, ensuring our content is engaging, accessible and aligned to our visual identity and corporate narrative.

Working closely with a team of digital and creative professionals, the Multimedia Designer is responsible for producing and delivering cutting-edge visual communication materials, including print, online, infographics, multimedia, video and presentations, to engage internal and external audiences.

This is a rapid-paced role where you will need to produce cinematic results with rapid-fire editing turn-a-round times. The information you are providing to the community can range from informative, educational stories about Australia’s climate to immediate newsworthy updates on a severe weather event.

Reporting to the Creative Team Leader, this role provides expert advice regarding cutting-edge approaches to graphic design, user experience design, online and print management (content and style), and providing multimedia and video content in line with the Bureau’s visual style guide and communications plan. You will provide the visual story of the Bureau to all Australians.
