In this role, you’ll be the trusted advisor for a small portfolio of customers, guiding them through monthly reviews, helping them understand their security posture, and translating complex technical information into clear, business‑focused insights. You’ll work closely with our Security Engineering team, providing strategic advice across modern security platforms particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem and helping customers uplift their maturity in line with best‑practice frameworks. This is a people‑centric, consultative role suited to someone who communicates confidently, thinks analytically, and enjoys building strong, long‑term customer relationships. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be eligible for NV1 Clearance. We are only considering Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents close to citizenship. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of ~15–20 customers, running monthly security reviews, health checks, and roadmap discussions. Act as the main security contact, building strong relationships with both technical teams and business stakeholders. Turn technical security information into clear, business‑focused insights and recommendations. Lead workshops and maturity assessments to help customers understand their security posture and uplift opportunities. Provide advisory across Endpoint, Email, Identity and SIEM/SOAR technologies, ensuring alignment with best‑practice frameworks. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered effectively. Support incident response communication and ensure stakeholders stay aligned during security events. Identify areas for improvement in customer environments and contribute insights to enhance Brennan’s security services. What skills and experience you bring: Strong communication skills with the ability to explain security concepts in straightforward, business‑friendly language.Strong communication skills with the ability to explain security concepts in simple, business‑friendly language. Confidence engaging with a mix of stakeholders, from engineers to CFOs and building trusted customer relationships. Familiarity with technologies such as: Endpoint : SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Defender for Endpoint, Trend Vision One, Sophos Email : Mimecast, Proofpoint, Microsoft EOP Identity : Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, Privileged Accs SIEM/SOAR: Microsoft Sentinel, Securonix, USM Anywhere or similar An analytical, consultative mindset, able to interpret data, spot trends, and turn insights into practical recommendations. Experience in incident response, vulnerability management, or security uplift programs (advantageous but not essential). Ability to juggle multiple customer engagements while maintaining consistency and quality.
