Security Officer Yulara

About the Role Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Security Officer to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT, 20 minutes drive from Uluru. Responsibilities Responsibilities include securing, patrolling, watching, guarding, and protecting all people within our resort. They will respond to a range of issues such as noise complaints, domestic disturbance, anti-social behaviour, and medical emergencies. Key Duties
- Monitor guest and resident behaviours and respond to complaints and incidents in a timely and skilled manner through securing, patrolling, watching, guarding, and protecting VITA people and infrastructure, including responding to alarm call outs (fire/security). Tasks may be undertaken on foot or in a vehicle.
- Provide access control for resort zones, controlling the movement of persons, vehicles, goods/property coming in or out of zones, monitoring and recording descriptions and quantities if required, ensuring appropriate identification/authority is produced, and reporting unauthorised personnel to management.
- Utilise a range of electronic equipment in the performance of duties. Qualifications
- Minimum Certificate II in Security & Senior First Aid Certificate (both current for a minimum of 6 months)
- Ability to obtain and hold an ASIC (Aviation Security identity Card)
- Ability to obtain and hold a Northern Territory Security Officer and Crowd Control licenses
- Ability to obtain and hold RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
