Overview

Altona location, close to public transport. Fixed term, full time to May 2028. Salary: Band 7
- $106,557.18 to $118,949.67 + superannuation.

Responsibilities

Leading end‑to‑end delivery of complex, concurrent capital works projects.

Establishing and managing project scope, governance, budgets, timelines and risks.

Procuring and managing consultants and contractors in a public sector workplace.

Overseeing design, construction and contract administration to agreed standards.

Building strong stakeholder relationships and providing explicit executive reporting.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, construction or similar.

Extensive experience managing design and construction phases of capital projects.

Robust contract administration skills, including experience with Australian Standards contracts.

Proven ability to manage budgets, multiple funding sources and reporting.

Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and problem solving skills.

Requirements

National Police Record Check & a Working With Children Check (WWCC) required.

Valid Victorian Driver's License.

Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa with full unrestricted working rights.
