Practice Nurse (Altona)

RN (EN with previous GP clinic experience) with preferred experience in General Practice sort for friendly small Medical Practice. If you see the practice nurse's role as a separate and integral part primary care and not just a doctors' assistant, this is absolutely the place for you. We see a variety of patients and are known for evolving our care to cater for a person's needs across their lifespan. Whilst there is a lot of chronic disease to treat in our area, there are also a growing number of young professionals and families who attend this practice. About the practice The Clinic Altona is a proudly doctor owned and run practice serving the local community since the 1950s. We acknowledge that health needs vary from person to person and are committed to providing quality personalised healthcare for all our Western Melbourne patients who come from a variety of cultural backgrounds.

- Administer immunisations, vaccinations, and medications
- Perform wound care, ECGs, Ear Syringing and spirometry
- Support patients in managing long-term conditions
- Contribute to health promotion, patient education and recalls
- Perform Pre Employment Medicals
- Work collaboratively with GPs and the wider clinical team
- Remuneration negotiable depending on proven experience
- No weekends or Public holidays
• Days of work Wednesday and Thursday and MUST be able to cover sick days and Annual Leave
