Disability Support Worker (Casual) (Altona North)

About the Role We are seeking a caring and reliable Support Worker to provide personal care supports to an NDIS participant. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, compassion, and a commitment to duty of care. Key Responsibilities
- Supporting social and community participation, outings and excursions
- Assist client with transportation and community access
- Assisting with daily life skill development such as inter-personal communication skills, building self-independence, etc.
- Encouraging choice, autonomy, and active participation in daily activities
- Following care plans and achieving goals with participants
- Maintain accurate reporting (includes progress notes, timesheets, incident reports, etc)
- Honest and transparent communication & feedback.
- Exhibit reliability, punctuality, and consistency at all times. About You You are a dependable, empathetic, and proactive support worker with:
- Fluent communication.
- Punctual and Reliable
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Commitment to participant safety, dignity, and wellbeing.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Infection Control / Safe Hand Hygiene Training Job Type: Casual Pay: $34.44 – $36.23 per hour Benefits:
