About the Role As a Shift Supervisor, you are responsible for leading the team during your shift and ensuring smooth day-to-day restaurant operations. You will be a hands-on leader who supports, coaches and motivates the team, while maintaining high standards of food quality, customer service, safety and cleanliness. This role is ideal for a confident team leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys driving performance through people. Shift Supervisor Responsibilities All Team Member and Team Member Trainer responsibilities, plus:
- Lead and coordinate the team during your shift
- Supervise team performance and provide coaching and feedback
- Ensure all food, service and safety standards are consistently met
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Support opening and closing procedures as required
- Monitor stock levels and assist with basic inventory control
- Assist with cash handling, POS procedures and basic reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS and company policies
- Communicate effectively with management regarding shift performance Shift Supervisor Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality, QSR or retail
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to train, coach and motivate team members
- Sound understanding of food safety, customer service and operational standards
