Bricklayer Level 1 Annandale

Build brick and block walls, piers, partitions, retaining structures, and other feature walls We are seeking an experienced Bricklayer to join our growing team. This role suits someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and enjoys working on a mix of residential and commercial projects across the region.

About the Role

You will be responsible for constructing and finishing brick and block structures. The position involves hands-on site work, interpreting drawings, and delivering neat, durable masonry finishes.

Key Responsibilities

· Cut bricks and blocks using hand tools or power equipment to achieve required shapes

· Set out work from plans, ensuring accurate measurements and alignment

· Repair and restore existing masonry/footings where needed

· Check levels, plumb lines and joint consistency throughout the build

· Lay bricks neatly in bonds and patterns that meet project specifications

· Install damp-proofing, ties, lintels, reinforcement and other structural components

· Mix and prepare mortar, adhesives and related materials for daily tasks

· Maintain tools, equipment and a clean, safe work area

· Work collaboratively with site supervisors, other trades and apprentices

What We’re Looking For

· Certificate III in Bricklaying or equivalent

· Minimum 3 years of Work experience

· Solid understanding of site safety and construction standards

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

· Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team

· Physical fitness and capability to handle manual labour
