Apprentice Locksmith (Booragoon)

**ABOUT US**: We are currently seeking a young Apprentice Locksmith for our growing Locksmith & Security Company located south of the river in Myaree.

Only year 10 completion is required to apply, although sometimes preferred, it is not a prerequisite to have completed years 11 & 12 at school.

We are after someone passionate about learning a unique trade, not someone just looking for a ‘job’.

We service all aspects of locksmithing, including safes, automotive, domestic, commercial and electronic security. The trade covers many aspects, for instance: customer service, metal work, wood work, programming and much more.

Experience in these fields is not required but the willingness to learn is. We are a growing company that strives to have an enjoyable and productive workplace where all employees can work at their best potential.

A current drivers license is not required initially but will be needed eventually when it becomes time for you to be trained for service work on the road.

We need an enthusiastic go getter to join our team and begin asap. We have an exciting new position available to be a part of a great workplace.

This is a full-time position for a new young Locksmith apprentice. We work closely with all new apprentices and even if you don't possess all the skills and attributes listed below we patiently will help you develop them as you progress in your apprenticeship.

- Organizational and time management skills with the ability to think ahead, prioritize workload and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively without close supervision & as part of a team
- Required to attend Rockingham TAFE in 2 week block bookings for the first 3 years of your four year apprenticeship. On successful completion you will be awarded Certificate III in Locksmithing.
- National Police Clearance
- If over 17, a valid current manual WA Driver's license is preferred but not initially required
- Construction White Card

**POSITION INCLUDES**:

- Tools and uniforms are provided

- Fri 8:30am to 5.00pm

Pay: $32,250.55
- $91,328.27 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

- Christmas bonus
