The Opportunity We are seeking an Arts & Technologies Technician (0.4 FTE) to join our team and support the delivery of engaging, hands-on learning experiences across our Arts and Technologies learning areas. This is a diverse and practical role working closely with teaching staff to ensure classrooms, workshops, studios, and creative spaces are organised, safe, resourced, and ready for learning. You will play an important role in supporting both staff and students by preparing materials, maintaining equipment, assisting with projects, and helping showcase the creativity and achievements of our students. This role would suit someone who enjoys being organised, working with a wide range of materials and resources, and taking pride in enabling great teaching and learning behind the scenes. • A service-oriented approach with a proactive and flexible mindset Experience in Arts, Design, Technologies, workshop environments, exhibitions, or schools is highly regarded, though not essential. What You'll Be Doing
• Preparing and organising materials, equipment, and resources for Arts and Technologies classes
• Supporting teachers during practical lessons and activities where required
• Maintaining and checking tools, equipment, machinery, and specialist resources
• Assisting with photography and documentation of student work and projects
• Curating and preparing student exhibitions and displays across the College
• Attaching hanging hardware and preparing artwork for presentation and display
• Managing stock levels, deliveries, and resource inventories
• Supporting safe, clean, and organised studios, classrooms, workshops, and storage spaces
• Liaising with teaching staff and broader College teams to support learning activities and events
