Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Painter to join our busy team in Armidale NSW, 2350. Scott

This is a permanent full-time position with an annual salary set at $ 75K-85K plus
superannuation, based on experience.

Your Responsibilities
• Selecting and Paint mixing before application.
• Spray application of primer and topcoat on panels.
• Select and match patterns paint coolers under the worksheet / Customer order.
• Prepares panels by sanding and cleaning and /or applying filler/bog to be painted.
• Loading paint, oil, lacquer, and rustproofing agents into spray equipment.
• Connecting hoses to spray equipment and adjusting spray nozzles to required
pressure.
• Securing items to be sprayed within spray booths or placing them onto conveyors.
• Select work structures/ patterns under the worksheet.
• Moving items to dry areas and stacking them for further painting and packaging.
• Starting and monitoring extractors, drying fans, and heaters.
• Cleaning nozzles, containers, and hoses of equipment.
• Applying masking tape and coverings over areas that are not being sprayed.
• Cleaning spray cans, nozzles, and other spraying equipment after each spray job.

• Quality checking per stage.
• Maintain work area and equipment used in a clean and orderly condition.
• Ensuring the number of panels and units under the worksheet.
• Plan and organise work.
• Monitoring and training staff (Paint, Quality, Structures, patterns).
About You:
To be considered for the position you must meet the following requirements:
• At least two years of experience in a similar role
• Pursuing or completing a trade qualification in painting
