Operations Lead - Logistics (Stabilisation & Growth) (Chatswood)

We are working with an established logistics and transport operation and are seeking a hands-on Operations Lead to take ownership of day-to-day operations, stabilise performance, and drive practical improvements across depots and fleet.

This role is suited to someone who prefers being close to operations, solving real problems, and delivering measurable results. It requires someone comfortable making decisions, taking accountability, and improving performance in real environments.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Take ownership of daily operations across depot and fleet
- Identify and implement practical cost improvements
- Improve utilisation, scheduling, and delivery efficiency
- Review customer contracts, pricing, and profitability
- Improve revenue quality through better operational performance
- Support stabilisation of existing customers and workflows
- Strengthen team accountability and operational discipline
- Work closely with ownership to improve cashflow and overall performance
- Prioritise actions that deliver immediate operational and financial impact

**What We Are Looking For**
- 5-10+ years in logistics / transport / warehousing operations
- Experience managing depots, fleet, and operational teams
- Proven track record improving operational performance in real environments
- Robust commercial awareness (cost, efficiency, and revenue impact)
- Hands-on, execution-driven approach (not purely corporate or reporting focused)
- Comfortable working in an environment where priorities evolve and decisions are made in real time
- Ability to work collaboratively with existing teams and build trust quickly
- Ability to leverage industry relationships to support revenue stability and continuity is advantageous
