Description
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Logistics Assistant / Supply Chain Administrator to join a well-established international consumer goods business on a 3-month temporary assignment based in St Leonards, Sydney. This role is ideal for someone with solid administration, inventory and logistics coordination experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment supporting supply chain operations across purchasing, shipments, inventory and reporting. About the Role Reporting to the Logistics & Planning Manager, you will support the day-to-day coordination of logistics, inventory administration and ERP system maintenance to ensure smooth supply chain operations. You will work closely with freight forwarders, suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage purchase orders, shipment tracking, inventory reporting and product data accuracy. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update SKU and item master data within the ERP system
- Assist with purchase order creation, tracking and administration
- Coordinate shipment documentation including packing lists and invoices
- Liaise with freight forwarders regarding ETAs, delays and shipment updates
- Support import logistics and customs clearance documentation
- Update delivery schedules and weekly logistics reports
- Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with stock adjustments and stocktakes
- Ensure reporting data aligns across ERP and operational systems
- Provide general logistics and supply chain administrative support About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in a Logistics Assistant, Supply Chain Administrator, Inventory Coordinator or Operations Support role
- Experience using ERP systems such as Navision, Microsoft Dynamics or similar
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
- Understanding of import/export logistics and shipment documentation highly regarded What's on Offer
