- This position is designed to provide efficient administration and reception support to the ‘watch it grow’ nursery, in order to create a welcoming environment (to customers, volunteers and visitors) and provide proficient efficient administration support.

About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Administration Assistant & Receptionist for our Watch Them Grow Nursery in a fixed term (6 months) in part-time capacity (15 hours per week). This position is based out of Riverview.
- Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Clerks Award Level 3.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administration and clerical activities, including filing (electronic and hard copy), processing mail, general correspondence, processing orders, paying accounts and revenue.- Assist with Management of all data for mission volunteers including integrity checks & induction of volunteers.- Provide retail support, including invoicing customers and point of sale transactions.- Support and production of electronic and printed media including word documents, newsletters, PowerPoints, photos, videos, for social media.- Manage all aspects of nursery supplies.- Ensure office and meeting areas are clean and presentable.- Administration of finances is maintained through established procedures and consistent adherence to Salvation Army financial procedures.- Ensure the provision of prompt and efficient customer service to internal and external customers through reception related activities including all phone, face to face and online enquiries.

About You:
- 3+ years administration office/practice experience working with some level of autonomy- Sound presentation and communication skills (both oral and written) to be able to interact positively with a variety of people.- Solid level of computer literacy in MS Office (including Excel, Powerpoint and Word) and understanding of computerised centralised accounting systems and other centralised general databases.- A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check- A valid Driver's license.
