**Designer Recruitment are working on an exciting new project offering Kitchen Designers in the UK an opportunity to work in Australia. This would be a fully sponsored role and our client would conduct all necessary paperwork on your behalf. This is a permanent role to be based out of one of their showrooms in either Sydney or various locations on the East and Central Coast.
The package:
- Salary $70,000
- $80,000 + Commission. $150,000 average take home per designer.

**Kitchen Designer duties**:
- Translating the customers’ preferences into a three-dimensional plan and gaining their commitment to the purchase of a new kitchen
- Conducting in-home design appointments
- Ensuring the plans and contracts are completed and signed by the customer
- Collecting the deposit from the customer
- Working closely with the Assistant Showroom Manager and Showroom Consultants for their success
- Creating leads and qualifying kitchen customers
- Ensuring an effective conversion of leads to contracts by conducting professional customer presentations
- Completing and signing plans and contracts
- Ensuring customer satisfaction, and optimising gross profit, in a manner that supports Company values, policies and objectives and the development of teamwork
**Key accountabilities & tasks for the Kitchen Designer**
- Achieving monthly orders and design conversions KPIs as directed by the showroom manager
- Arranging follow-up appointments as and when required
- Attending sales meetings weekly as and when required
- Participating in monthly promotional launch meetings as advised
- Visiting Home Shows, shopping centre displays and relevant trade shows
**Achieve orders by**:
- Vetting the lead sheet with the Showroom Manager and Consultant
- Adhering to the Company’s Kitchen Designer's “7 Step Sales” process
- Providing effective solutions that align with customer expectations
- Closing the sale in the in-home design appointment
- Gaining and securing a precise understanding of customer needs/requirements
- Providing a creative solution to meet customer needs/requirements
- Committing to a design plan for a customer that can be delivered by the Company from the company’s standard product range
- Managing customer expectations including outlining any related conditions of sale
- Providing rationale to support the inclusion and exclusion of different design features
- Spending the time necessary with the customer, so as to address any queries and/or objections that may arise
- Provide and maintain exceptional company internal customer service by
- Maintaining current product knowledge together with current knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Forwarding all messages to appropriate people and employees
- Attending all appointments on time
- Ensuring that measurements and plans are accurate and completed in a manner that will avoid rework
