Traffic Controller (Chatswood)

**The Role**

Linbeck is seeking Ticketed Traffic Controllers to safely set up and direct the flow of Traffic (vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists) on our scheduled Gas & Water projects.

As a Traffic Controller your key responsibilities are but not limited to;
- Work safely to direct oncoming traffic (vehicles and pedestrians) as required for the worksite
- Set up and position traffic control equipment on worksites (cones, signs)
- Work closely within a team to manage the flow of traffic
- Direct traffic with stop & slow bats as required for the job
- Control traffic with potable traffic controls and temporary traffic signs as required for the job
- Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans
- Load and unload Linbeck vehicles with traffic signage and equipment
- Complete prestart, site hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the site
- Perform adhoc tasks associated with all traffic management duties

**To be considered for the role you must have;**
- Previous experience as a Traffic Controller, directing traffic in various conditions
- Must have current Traffic control ticket (Blue)
- Implement Traffic Management Plans ticket (Yellow)
- Permanent working rights in Australia
- Must have a White card & unrestricted driver’s licence
- Have own vehicle to drive to site
- Must have a positive work ethic, be highly team orientated and be safety conscientious
- Available to to work days & nights
- Crew Leading experience is an additional skill being considered

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $28.00
- $33.00 per hour
