Senior Design Draftsperson (Chatswood)

About the role Facade Innovations Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Draftsperson to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is based full time in our office in Chatswood NSW. As a Senior Design Draftsperson, you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of innovative facade designs for our commercial projects. What you'll be doing
- Producing detailed design drawings for an extensive range of facade systems including curtain walls, shop fronts, tiled and metal facades, frameless assemblies and commercial window and door systems
- Collaborating closely with architects, engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet all technical requirements
- Preparing specifications, detailed facade shop drawings for architectural approval, panel and bar drawings, small parts drawings, working drawings and other technical documentation to support the construction process
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our design processes and standards What we're looking for
- Extensive knowledge of Autocad is essential along with a minimum of 10 years commercial facade drafting experience is essential
- Australian work rights are required for this position
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, technically accurate drawings
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
