The Group Content Chapter sits within the Marketing and Corporate Affairs function, focused on continually driving positive reputation, brand consideration and customer engagement with the Commonwealth Bank. Our Group Content Chapteris responsible forexecuting the Brighter content ecosystem to build the nation’s financial empowerment.
We do this by using insights to deliver high-quality content across our owned channels, including our website, with a growing focus on creating seamless, customer-led digital experiences. Do work that matters As aMarketer with a focus oncontent design for digital experiences, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering content for ongoingwebsite optimisation and uplift initiatives, as well as continuous improvement of our digital platforms. You’llbe responsible fordesigning and deliveringcustomer-centred content, journeys and information architecturethat respond to customer needs, productprioritiesand key business moments.
This includes forming content strategies that balanceuser experience (UX), SEOperformanceand clear, effective copywriting. Working closely with UX designers, productownersand developers, you will help createintuitive,accessibleand engaging web experiences, ensuring content is structured,purposefuland easy to navigate. You will use data,insightsand research to inform decisions, continuously improving content performance and usability.
From defining page structures and content hierarchies to writing and optimising copy,you’llensure every piece of content supports both customer outcomes and business goals. On any given day you will:
• Design, write, edit and optimisewebsite content and copy, including landing pages, product and service information, and editorial content—transforming complex information into clear, user-friendly experiences
• Own content design for key initiatives withinwebsite optimisation and uplift programs, including page structures, content hierarchies, navigation and user flows
• Ensure all content aligns withUX andSEO best practices, including keyword strategy, on-page optimisation and content structuring
• Collaborateand partnerwitha variety of stakeholders(includingProduct, Engineering,andDesign)to deliverend-to-end digital experiencesthat captures and converts customers
• Build and publish web content using a CMS
• Use data, analytics and customer insights totest, learn and continuously optimisecontent performance (e.g. A/B testing, behavioural insights)
• Act as a brand and content governance champion, ensuring accessibility, tone of voice and consistency across digital touchpoints
• Support the development ofcontent models, templates, design systems and reusable patternsfor scalable content delivery
• Contribute to a collaborative, agile team environment focused on improving customer experience outcomes We’reinterested to hear from people who havedemonstrable experience in: •Solid writing and editing skills, with proven experience creating clear, concise and engaging website copy
• Demonstrated experience incontent design and UX writing
• A solid understanding ofuser experience (UX) principles, including information architecture, user journeys and accessibility
• Strong knowledge ofSEO, including keyword optimisation, content structuring and performance measurement
• Experience working with a CMS, preferablyAdobe Experience Manager
• Experience with theAdobe Suite,especiallyPhotoshop,Adobe Analytics, and Target-
• A test-and-learn mindset, with experience indriving continuous improvement of content
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align across complex environments
• Confidence in pitching content ideas, backed by customer insight and strategic rationale
• Aself-starter mindset, with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes
