Food Services Supervisor (Roseville)

We are searching for a Catering Supervisor to lead the kitchen team in conjunction with the Catering Manager. You will work 1100-1900 Monday to Friday preparing dinner service and to manage the PM shift catering team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare meals as per seasonal menus, ensuring food is prepared fresh and on time
- Monitor presentation of meals and provide guidance and training to kitchen staff and carers where required to maintain high standards of presentation
- Provide training and guidance on dinner service as required
- Take ownership of collecting and inputting menu choices by residents into Simple
- Monitor tray service for quality and accuracy
- Maintain safe and hygienic operation throughout total dietary and catering services
- Clean kitchen equipment and other food service areas and maintain to established standard and schedules
- Management of catering operations when the Food Services Manager is on leave

**About you**:

- Experience cooking high quality meals in an aged care setting
- Cert III in hospitality highly regarded
- Experience with accreditation and the compliance requirements
- Aged care or hospital experience
- Leadership skills
- An effective communicator who isn’t shy to suggest new ideas and challenge the way we do things
- A current police or NDIS check
