**About this role** The Manager Property has both strategic and operational accountabilities to ensure the compliant, efficient and effective management, in accordance with NSW Health policies and objectives, of the Gladesville and Callan Park sites. This role also manages building fit-outs, repairs, facilities utilisation and relocations. The role responds to organisational accommodation needs and manages property and accommodation to add value for business units; and ensuring compliance with legislation, regulation, Acts, codes of practice and government policy.

**Selection Criteria**
- Extensive experience and a record of achievement in facilities management in a large and complex service environment, including relevant qualifications or equivalent. This includes extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in facilities compliance and interpretation of relevant legislation, regulation, work health and safety requirements, building codes of practice, and organisational policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of project management and implementation including project scoping; planning; managing budgets, costs and resource impacts; and management of multiple and concurrent projects with conflicting milestones and deadlines.
- Sound verbal and written communications skills with demonstrated experience drafting complex written documents such as reports, briefs and business cases for senior management.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience developing effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders including liaising with and influencing stakeholders to achieve optimum business outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing capability of a team, and coaching and advising managers, whilst always fostering a performance based and customer focused work culture.
- Capacity and willingness, including current NSW driver’s license, to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW.
- Well-developed understanding of contemporary issues in Facilities Management and their practical implications in a commercial environment.
