Security Officer – Full-Time Location: Chatswood Industry: Large Indoor Shopping Centre within the retail industry. About the Role As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role involves a mix of patrols, incident response, and client-facing duties. Positions available: Full-time Potential earnings / Award Level: Level 2 Shifts: Weekday and weekend | Day and night shifts Roster (example) Monday to Saturday – 09:00am to 09:00pm Sunday – 11:00am to 09:00pm Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patrols/roaming to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets
- Provide a professional and approachable security presence
- Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance
- Identify and assess risks, taking appropriate action in line with procedures
- Adhere to all site and company security protocols
- Obtaining complete and detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
- Maintain traffic control in loading docks. About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A valid Security Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded)
- Availability to work day/night and weekday/weekend shifts
- Good physical fitness, as patrols are required
- Ability to work independently and follow procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- A reliable and punctual work history
