We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Workshop Controllerto join Mercedes-Benz North Shore in Artarmon.

About the role:

Manage daily tasks for a team of technicians

Oversee technician productivity and efficiency

Prioritise repair orders for timely completion

Assist with technical problem-solving

Suggest additional work to the Service Advisor team for customer notification

Ensure repair orders are completed correctly for warranty procedures, seeking clarification when needed

Lead qualified technicians and apprentices to optimise service delivery

Ensure all work meets manufacturer benchmarks

Maintain a secure work environment

Assist in setting and achieving service sales and profit objectives

Control workshop activity to maximise profitability

What we are looking for:

Relevant work experience and trade qualifications

Previous Workshop Controller experience preferred but not essential

Current driver's license

Excellent time management skills and is punctual and reliable

Ability to lead the team

MVTC essential

Air-Conditioning License preferred but not essential

ASCIS & AUVIS License preferred but not essential

Demonstrates care and attention to detail

Positive communication skills

Commitment to safety and following processes
