THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our close-knit team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role offers genuine scope for professional development
- including fully funded Extended Scope of Practice (ESP) training for the right candidate
- as we continue to expand our clinical services offering. Whether you are looking to deepen your clinical skills, take on a mentoring role, or simply work in a pharmacy that values and invests in its people, this is a compelling opportunity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with all legal and professional standards
- Counsel patients on the safe and effective use of medications, with empathy and clarity
- Deliver professional pharmacy services: vaccinations, blood pressure monitoring, diabetes screening, and dose administration aids, conduct MedsChecks
- Liaise effectively with prescribers, GPs, and allied health professionals regarding patient care and medication management
- Ensure full compliance with the Pharmacy Board of Australia Code of Conduct, the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 1966 (NSW), and relevant Commonwealth legislation
- Maintain accurate records and stock control, including Schedule 8 medications
- Mentor, supervise, and support pharmacy assistants and intern pharmacists
- Participate in the development and delivery of extended scope clinical services as the pharmacy's offering grows WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Essential
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Master of Pharmacy (or qualifications recognised by the Australian Pharmacy Council)
- Current general registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA) — no conditions or undertakings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Sound working knowledge of PBS programs, MedsCheck, and professional pharmacy services
- Valid work visa or authorisation to work in Australia Desirable
- Vaccination accreditation as an NSW Health authorised immuniser
- Experience supervising or mentoring pharmacy support staff
- Interest in expanded scope clinical pharmacy practice WHAT WE OFFER
