We are seeking Food Service Assistantfor our MaylandsHome to work on a Part time basis.
About the role
As a Food Service Assistant you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving and clean-up of meals to our residents.
You will bring a solid commitment to customer service, food safety, and an understanding of special dietary requirements that will have a positive impact on the wellbeing of our residents.
What You Will Do
Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program
Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
Ensure all Kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards
Understanding residents special dietary requirements
Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
Understand and implement infection control initiatives
What You Will Bring
Demonstrated experience in a similar role (medium to large Kitchen)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work as a team player
Previous Aged Care experience in Kitchen operations
Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards
Provide NDIS clearance, Rights to Work
