A Snapshot of Your Day We are currently looking for a Procurement Professional to support our Internal Material Procurement Team based in Melbourne. You will be involved in the end-to-end procurement process for indirect materials. How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Support the business in sourcing, negotiating and purchasing indirect materials and services
- Engage and set up new suppliers as required
- Support the negotiation and execution of procurement contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with legal and finance departments to support the review and finalization of contract documents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Contribute to supplier lifecycle management
- Report on savings achieved as result of procurement efforts
- Contribute to the improvement of our procurement processes and practices. What You Bring
- We appreciate multiple years of procurement or supply chain management experience
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of SAP (our ERP) as well as procurement software and tools
- Understanding procurement processes and practices is a must
- You’re a team player who has attention for detail while keeping in mind the bigger picture of how the work relates to the execution of procurement strategy
