VD TECH is a machining shop specialised in manufacturing general components of drillings rigs, oil & gas prototypes and also services for breakdowns / repairs.

The Mechanical Engineer Leader will solely be responsible for providing onsite engineering support risk assessments, systems performance reviews, budget planning, contract and vendor management, policy improvement, reliability, support repairs, 3D drawing and knowledge in CNC machines.

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:

- Creation of work orders for the manufacturing teams, detailing tasks, required resources, deadlines, and priorities.
- Responsible for ensuring materials are properly sorted and checked, minimizing unplanned downtimes and interruptions.
- Final inspection of devices to ensure quality and compliance, guaranteeing that components meet technical specifications.
- Inventory management and control of spare parts and materials, ensuring adequate stock levels to prevent delays in production or maintenance.
- Creation and management of purchase orders for maintenance materials and components, ensuring timely delivery according to established deadlines.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings know-how, exceptional attention to detail for drafting;
- Leadership management skill and ability to work autonomously and take initiative;
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Production or Maintenance Planner

Pay: $73,000.00
- $75,000.00 per year
