About the Role Reporting to the Head of Executive Communications & Media, the Communications Coordinator will be supporting the delivery of strategic communications initiatives and activities that are instigated or maintained by the organisation’s corporate affairs function, Office of the CEO, settlement programs, advocacy campaigns, and general organisation of tactics, events and strategies/plans that require coordination and implementation. You will be delivering effective and impactful support on sponsorships, events and member engagement activities as required. Specifically, the development and implementation of Refugee Week. This is a graduate chance for a 3-month max-term contract, working part-time 2 days a week across our Sydney offices. **Essential Criteria**:
- Undertaking or recently completed tertiary qualifications in communications or equivalent field.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to act on initiative.
- Knowledge of video and image editing techniques and software.
- Enthusiasm for implementing and developing internal and external strategies and channels with some demonstrated experience via work experience.
