Technical Sales Representative – NSW (Ashfield)

Position Title: Technical Sales Representative – NSW Reporting to: National Sales Manager Kraus and Naimer Pty Ltd – Australia is seeking a Sales Representative based in Sydney NSW to cover the NSW Region. Kraus and Naimer is a market leader in Industrial Isolators, Cam Switches, Push Buttons and Pilot lights with a reputation for providing quality products, tailored solutions and excellent service. Position Summary: Based from the Sydney head office the Technical Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining and growing existing business, developing new customer opportunities and to provide technical advice and customer service. Including but not limited to Design Engineers, contractors, end users, OEM’s and wholesalers. Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients while also engaging and developing new business opportunities
- Assess client requirements and advise on appropriate products, options and accessories to meet their needs
- Keep up to date with product knowledge on existing and new Kraus and Naimer products
- Provide technical support as required and work efficiently with all internal and external team members
- Engage in and run Trade Shows, Trade days, Product demos and away trips as required and travel regionally within the state. Reporting to the National Sales Manager the Successful candidate shall:
- Be motivated to join a passionate team and capable of working effectively as an individual – and within a close-knit team
- Be able to create, maintain, enhance both current and existing business relationships
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be willing to develop product and application knowledge to identify solutions for new and existing clients
- Be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and be computer literate
- High standard of personal presentation and a positive attitude
- Have an Australian Drivers Licence and be prepared to travel within Australia as required Full support will be provided to the successful applicant to learn the product range, internal computer systems and programs and gain an introduction to existing clients and an industrial electrical background would be seen as advantageous.
