We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused Deli Clerks to join our growing team at Grobnik. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, loves quality food, and wants to be part of a fun, fast-paced and supportive environment.

We have both Casual and Full-Time positions available, with flexible hours for the right candidates.

About the Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Serving and assisting customers Preparing and presenting deli products Learning and preparing some of our popular homemade items Cleaning and maintaining a high standard of presentation throughout the store Recommending products and upselling complementary items Operating slicers, scales and POS systems Restocking and rotating stock Working independently and as part of a team

We’re looking for someone who:

Has a positive and friendly personality Enjoys talking with customers and building relationships Is reliable, trustworthy and punctual Can work independently when required Loves food, cooking and learning new skills Has robust attention to detail and pride in their work Is motivated to grow within the business Thrives in a busy retail environment Is willing to learn and take initiative

Experience

Previous deli, hospitality, butcher, café or retail experience is highly regarded, however attitude and willingness to learn are more important to us than experience alone.
